We are really excited to have some super talented artists, designers and makers joining us on December 7th, many who only attend the Christmas market dates. It will be a day of celebration, where we thank the local community for supporting us over the last year, as well as standing back and celebrating the hundreds of artist, makers, designers and musicians, and performers, who have been part of the Olive Tree Market community over the last year.

The Christmas Olive Tree Market presents visitors with the opportunity to discover an amazing variety of  beautifully crafted contemporary products, all in an exciting festival market setting. There are so many reasons to shop local – visitors can discover unique gift ideas, and be assured that they can pick-up, small batch, ethically created handmade goods. Each purchase means you are supporting local artists and championing creative talent.

There is the added bonus of finding a Christmas gifts that you know will be unique or Christmas day, that you will be contributing to the local economy, and making a stand against mass produced goods, all in the cultural heart of Newcastle.

Once the shopping, and sampling are done, visitors can bring along a picnic rug, and join friends and family, for a delicious brunch from our local street food purveyors.
