Beep is back! Newcastle’s amazing hand painted bicycle bells created by local Jana Lindstrom. Pick up a bell for each member of your family to make your bike stand out this Summer! We love these new designs, super cute, and just in time to pick up a unique, handmade gift for Christmas. Meet the maker on November 2nd.

Vanessa Lewis
The new work by Apothecary Artist is so lovely. These adorable baby whale prints have been hand-gilded in goldleaf (yellow & rose), like the light glittering on the ocean or reflected on the moon. Find local artist Vanessa Lewis at Olive Tree on November 2nd and pick yourself the perfect original art work for your collection or perhaps as a gift for a special person in your life.

Nicole Berlach Illustration
Collaboration is a beautiful word! Alongside Community???? We love seeing the creative relationships, and collaborations, that develop at and around The Olive Tree Market. Olive Tree artist Nicole Berlach recently created this gorgeous mural at Bar Botanica, a garden to table cafe in an incredible mud brick space with lush green grounds which is the creation of fellow Olive Tree foodie Mr Goaty Gelato. Discover Nicole’s amazing botanical art works and Daniel’s amazing gelato at our upcoming market.

Salvation Jewellery
Salvation Jewellery is a Darwin based handmade polymer clay earring business. Maker Shona Johnson creates small batch vibrant earrings packed with colour and pattern. All products are designed and made in their home- more specifically their kitchen. Salvation Jewellery was launched two years ago at a local market and has since expanded to stock stores around Australia. The maker aims to bring exciting accessories to the public that are unique, and Shona frequently adds new products to her brand to keep it exciting for their growing fan base. Meet the maker for the first time on November 2nd

Hell Wench- for the last time!
The birds are singing with Hell Wench. Martha hand makes these incredible ceramic cups using the Japanese technique wabi-sabi which translates to “perfection in imperfection”. We think they are wild and real and beautiful and would make the perfect addition to any ceramics collection. Martha is moving to Canada, so unfortunately November 2nd is the last time you will find Hell Wench at The Olive Tree Market. So don’t miss the opportunity to pick up one of her beautiful pieces.

Love Your Space
Danielle Burley is the founder and photographer of Love Your Space. Launched two years ago in Warrnambool, Victoria, Dani has recently relocated back to Newcastle with her family for some much needed sunshine & family time. “ I started my photography career nine years ago in Melbourne as a wedding and portrait photographer and my practice evolved into focusing on creating beautiful wall art. My images are inspired by nature, pastel colours and rich earthy tones.  I now sell over 700 designs which are proudly designed and Made in Australia.” We can’t wait for you to discover the artists work!

Indaia Swim
Indaia Swim have launched their new campaign for 2019 / 2020 summer and we can feel the heat! Their styles are influenced by the everlasting search for those exploring the ocean and those sneaky summer spots. Each pair of Indaia’s swimwear is handmade in Australia and now is the perfect time to get yourself a new piece for the season.

Kindje
How unbelievably adorable is this little one featuring the ‘Bruiser’ overalls by Kindje! These overalls are available in Natural, Pink, Deep Teal and Stripe and we think they look absolutely practical for all the adventures your young ones will take. Find Kindje’s unique range of children’s clothing at Olive Tree on November 2nd and bring the whole family to enjoy a day out.

Music Line-up on November 2nd
We are welcoming back Brown Bear and Hooves to the Olive Tree Market on November 2nd. One of our favourite local acts – they play gorgeous acoustic folk music with glorious harmonies. Their vibe makes them the perfect morning music for your breakfast and coffee. Cygan Groove will keep the vibes going through lunch time, with their gypsy jazz influenced music, this band features some of the finest Newcastle musicians- you will be blown away by their virtuosity and talent. Taking us through the afternoon is local indie original artist Megan Core, her lyrical songs uncover fantastic story telling and this young rising artist is one not to miss! We also have local favourite Hawaiian slide guitar band the High Andies, and the fantastic and heart thumping drumming circle Earthen Rythms from 11am – 1pm. Don’t miss out on getting a taste of what the Newcastle music scene has to offer at The Olive Tree market on November 2nd.
